My mum’s neighbour passed away from widespread cancer. In her final days, my mum made her these smoothies – which were easy to drink and digest, yet super delicious.
Even on the days she could only drink part of the shake, her smile of delight as she tasted them lit up the room.
To make these you need a MagicBullet or NutriBullet blender, or of course a Vitamix or other high-powered blender would work well too.

Can you have these if you are on the elemental diet with absorbplus?
Hi Julius,
We wouldn’t recommend using these if you are on an elemental diet but they can be a good option if you’ve achieved a remission state and are transitioning back to normal food.
Kind regards,
Justin

I put almond meal in my morning protein shake.
Is it okay to mix the natren probiotics with a banana mango smoothie?
Hi Joseph,
Yes, that shouldn’t be a problem. We recommend following the same procedure for mixing probiotics with Absorb Plus which you can find at the link below:

I thought mixing the Natren probiotics with food was not a good idea because I have read in LTYG that digestive juices destroy the probiotic bacteria? Aren’t you supposed to take them on an empty stomach?
Hello Jane,
We do definitely recommend the probiotics best on a empty stomach, 20 minutes before food or two hours after. However, if a person can not handle the taste that way, or for a child it is recommended to have in yogurt or a shake, but with no other food. Please see this link for more information on that: https://blog.listentoyourgut.com/probiotic-powders-with-absorb-plus/

You can switch out the nuts/flaxseed with a rounded tablespoon of almond butter (for the protein), a tablespoon of raw/unrefined/organic coconut butter for the good fat content, and a tablespoon of psyllium seed powder (for the fiber). A handful of butter lettuce or some super greens powder adds antioxidants.
