My Journey to Healing Ulcerative Colitis

My name is Linsy, and this is my story of living with IBD and finding my way to healing. Everyone’s journey is unique, so I wanted to share mine, what helped me, and my story of natural healing with Jini’s protocols…

Linsy’s Story

I had struggled with Ulcerative Colitis since I was fourteen, and I am thirty years old now. Needless to say, after about 14 years of struggling with this disease, I had tried just about everything! From medications, to diets, to painful procedures – all of them resulted in more pain and suffering for me. I had really hit a wall when one of my “flares” resulted in me being hospitalized after bleeding for a full year straight. Nothing they gave me stopped my bleeding and other symptoms. I was so thin, so weak, and very anemic. Food was an enemy to me, as all of it made me worse. The medications they gave me caused further complications and allergic reactions. I felt completely hopeless.

I was very scared after suffering what I went through, and I had a lot of trauma, but I knew there was something better out there. I refused to give up! Even though I was so weak, there was still a flame inside me that told me not to give up – to still look for answers to my health issues.

I then found Jini Patel Thompson simply by searching on Google, and I found her LTYG website for gut health. I watched Jini’s 8 Key Steps to Healing IBD, took avid notes, and I instantly knew this is what I had been looking for. It immediately resonated with me, and validated all I felt and had gone through! So, I bought all the supplies and began implementing her protocols. I read her entire Listen To Your Gut book in a matter of days; I was that tenacious about finding answers!!

Fast forward in time, I am now medication and symptom-free. Please watch this video to hear the lightbulb moment that changed my life!

Be sure to drop a comment below if you resonated with my story, or if you’d like to share a bit of yours. Thanks for taking the time to listen to me, and always remember to listen to YOUR gut.  🙂
