If you’ve read my book, Listen To Your Colon, you’ll know why soluble fiber is preferable to insoluble fiber. It helps maintain regularity, along with gentle yet effective herbs (Indian sarsparilla root, artichoke leaf extract, dandelion root, Haritaki) to stimulate detox, and support the liver and kidneys (which become burdened when constipated).
The majority of the soluble fiber in ColonEaze~Move consists of organic psyllium seed powder; with a smaller amount of organic psyllium husk. Why? Because many people with sensitive guts can be triggered if they ingest a lot of psyllium husk, but they’re just fine (and helped) by psyllium seed. These are very different parts of the plant and they affect the intestines differently – so it’s important to get the ratio right.
Psyllium bulks up the stool (attracts/holds water if your stool is too hard), exercises the colon, evens out peristaltic rhythm, helps produce butyrate (anti-inflammatory for the gut), while it also becomes a food for probiotics. All of which help to maintain the integrity of the colon mucosal lining. Also, due to psyllium’s stool bulking ability, it is a valuable detox agent that helps sweep out toxins, die-off substances, or dead pathogens.
Available in a loose powder that you can add to water or diluted fruit juice.
Dosage: Mix 1-3 teaspoons in 8-16 ounces (1-2 cups) of water or diluted fruit juice, 1-3 times per day. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Start with half a teaspoon and gradually increase. Best if used on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning and before bed is usually best. Make sure to drink another cup (8 ounces) of water following dosage.
Take at the same time of day to promote regular bowel movements – if you want to have a bowel movement in the morning, then take ColonEaze~Move before bed (on an empty stomach). If you find you need help to stimulate a bowel movement, you can take 250-500 mg of magnesium citrate with ColonEaze~Move, up to a maximum of 1000 mg per day.
If you would like to increase its action, then you can do so by either increasing the amount you take, or by increasing the frequency of dosage.
So this means you might want to increase to 1.5 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon every morning and see how your body responds. Or you might like to take 1 teaspoon in the morning and 1 teaspoon in the afternoon. People have used up to 2 tablespoons per dosage. So you may want to increase slowly and find the dosage/frequency that is right for your unique body.
There are no known contraindications for using ColonEaze long term, but as your gut health and diet improve, you may not need to take it every day, or you may wish to decrease the dosage etc.
*NOTE: ColonEaze is a dietary supplement comprised of a herb blend, and % DV is based on children 4 & up. We don’t know of any health risks, but you can always check with your healthcare professional for any concerns.
But keep in mind, that ColonEaze~Move is designed to address the underlying issues around constipation (along with probiotic ingestion) so over time you should be able to decrease the amount of magnesium you use, to normal supplementation levels. 125-250 mg of magnesium citrate per day is considered a normal level of magnesium supplementation.

NOTE: 1.84% of women over age 60 have heart palpitations caused by psyllium. Either due to an allergic reaction or due to psyllium slowing down the digestion/absorption of carbohydrates, thus resulting in low blood sugar and increased heart rate.

This product is great! Enjoy! Linsy
I love the helpful research that you pass on! My family and I continue to be helped through your efforts. I would like to know if the psyllium seed is not going to increase gut irritation for someone with IBS/leaky gut? Otherwise it is still very useful in other cases like mine.
Hi there! Great question.
Here is a post by Jini on home remedies for IBS, which is great info! https://listentoyourgut.com/irritable-bowel-syndrome-ibs/ In it, she mentions psyllium quite a bit.
Tons of people have tested and done these protocols (including myself) without complication from psyllium. However, always listen to toy our body’s intuition!:) there is no match for that if your body says not to take something. And chat with your doctor of course on this! 🙂
If you are concerned with inflammation sometimes what I would do is just use psyllium seed powder and not the husks, as it can be gentler on the system and do that as a separate treatment. I personally had Ulcerative Colitis and have taken this product without issues or inflammation but rather it helped clear up things for me.
All my best! Linsy
I don’t know how to order it. The website says “coming soon”

Hi Amy, thanks for reaching out. ColonEaze is intended to relieve diarrhea or constipation first and foremost, but it can assist with bloating due to these issues. 🙂 Here is more information on both: https://blog.listentoyourgut.com/coloneaze-firm-move-for-diarrhea-or-constipation/

How often should I take dsmo
What are the possible side effects of ColonEaze Move? I have constipation caused by Candida in lower bowel and by my medication for high blood pressure. I also have gastritis and often feel a burning in my stomach from that. Will this product cause stomach upset, or abdominal pain or cramping? Will the diuretic effect cause dehydration? Is it less potent than Triphala which can cause MANY serious side effects? Will it lower my blood pressure and blood sugar like Triphala (I also have chronic problems with hypoglycemia but I am not diabetic)? Also, I get REALLY bloated up like a balloon from Metamucil with psyllium husk, so your product shouldn’t do that, right? Can I purchase samples of ColonEaze Move to try? Thank you so much!
Hi Sharlene, thanks for your comment. Jini specifically selected the ingredients in ColonEaze Move to be gentle and well-tolerated, based on both her personal experience and extensive research. We’ve also heard from many customers who have found it helpful in supporting regular bowel movements without harsh side effects.
That said, because we’re not medical professionals, we’re unable to predict how any supplement—including ColonEaze Move—may affect your unique body, especially when combined with existing conditions or medications. The best guidance we can offer is to tune in deeply to your body’s responses and go slow.
If you’re unsure, a gentle approach is to start with a smaller amount than suggested on the label and observe how your body reacts, should you want to proceed in testing it.
At this time, we don’t offer samples of ColonEaze Move, but many people find even a reduced amount is enough to get a sense of its effect.
To truly know what works for your individual body, we often recommend working on strengthening your body-mind connection. This kind of intuitive awareness can be incredibly helpful in navigating healing. Jini writes more about this in her personal blog series, which you may find valuable: https://blog.listentoyourgut.com/category/musings/
We hope this helps guide your decision—and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions or need support along the way.
